Spencer is an Animal Studies major with a Film minor (Class of December 2025). With over 10 years of reptile care experience alongside his brother, he has a strong background in husbandry and enclosure design, particularly reptile lighting and plants.

In the HERP Lab, Spencer is currently working on a lighting paper and contributing to the iNaturalist project. His main focus is on reptile lighting and its role in welfare and enclosure design.
