Orion is a double major in Animal Studies and Environmental Studies (Class of 2026). They bring extensive reptile husbandry experience, both professional and personal, including an internship at the Alligator and Wildlife Discovery Center and more than seven years of caring for reptiles.

Their main interests lie in reptile welfare and enclosure design, with a particular passion for tank setup and enrichment. Orion has contributed to projects such as the iNaturalist survey, vivarium building, the ReptiFiles initiative, BORIS coding, research sheets, and the Spencer bulb project.

They are especially excited to take part in the Q&A section, where they can share clear, concise, and accessible information with new and upcoming reptile enthusiasts. Orion looks forward to helping bridge the gap between research and responsible reptile keeping.
