Maxwell is an Animal Studies major with a minor in Psychology (Class of 2026). He has worked with a wide range of reptiles in professional settings, including at the Central Park Zoo, a nature center, and an aquarium, and also cares for his own crested gecko.

His focus is on enrichment and husbandry, with hands-on contributions to vivarium building in the lab. Maxwell is eager to learn more about the herptiles he loves and to see how the HERP Lab’s research is shared with a broader audience through ReptiFiles.
