Laila is an Animal Studies major with a Visual Arts minor (Class of 2026). She has cared for reptiles for over eight years, previously owning a bearded dragon and now keeping two geckos. She also assists in caring for reptiles owned by her family.

Her focus is on enrichment and general care, and she has supported the lab through iNaturalist projects and research observations. Laila is excited about the potential of ReptiFiles to reach a broad audience with accessible reptile care information.
