Miya is pursuing majors in Biology, Environmental Science, and Animal Studies (Class of 2027). She has owned reptiles for over six years and gained professional experience in animal education while working at Franklin Park Zoo.
Her focus is on reptile care and welfare, and she has contributed to the lab through data analysis and research on snakes as service animals. Miya is enthusiastic about participating in any form of public education, from blogs to videos, and is excited to see how the HERP Lab and ReptiFiles collaboration grows.
