Devon is an Animal Studies and Environmental Studies double major with a minor in Psychology (Class of 2026). They have extensive experience in reptile and wildlife care, including collecting and recording data on leatherback sea turtle nests, working at a wildlife sanctuary with exotic species, and handling large snakes at fundraising events. With over 15 years of experience caring for herptiles as pets, Devon has also taught children reptile identification and safe handling at an animal-focused summer camp.

In the HERP Lab, Devon has contributed to vivarium building, plant quarantine and care, BORIS coding, and establishing breeding colonies of isopods, roaches, and mealworms. They are especially interested in replicating natural and enriching environments to improve captive reptile care. Devon looks forward to seeing how ReptiFiles videos and educational materials can share research insights with the reptile-keeping community.
